Barnabas Pre-School is a small, sessional, pre-school which is based at Quay Church (the church with the silver hands) in central Woodbridge, although children also attend from surrounding villages including Melton, Martlesham, Waldringfield, Newbourne and even further afield.
As a sessional provision Barnabas is able to provide:
Five morning and four afternoon sessions are available each week during term time for a maximum of twenty five children per session in the care of a minimum of four extremely experienced staff.
Barnabas offers term time provision and children are welcome to join throughout the academic year. Two year old spaces are limited to ensure these younger children receive an exceptionally higher level of care as they settle into our spacious mixed age facility.

- Individual learning opportunities based on each child’s interests as well as their learning and development needs
- Time for each Key Person to build a friendly and supportive relationship with individual children and their families
- A daily routine which includes group activities and regular teaching sessions to prepare older children for school
- A supportive behaviour policy that enables all children to enjoy the opportunities offered at Barnabas and in future at school
- A wealth of life experiences from regular outings into the local town and community to further afield
- The opportunity to meet many visitors throughout every term sharing their skills and interests as well as parents and grandparents regularly reading at story time
- A community of friendly and supportive families and staff with the common interest of giving pre-school children the most enjoyable yet calm environment in which to thrive.
